German Freelance Content Creator

3Dnatives is the largest international online media platform on 3D printing and its applications. With in-depth market analysis, 3Dnatives reaches over 1.3 million unique visitors per month and is available in English, French, Spanish, German, and Italian. We work with key additive manufacturing players and offer services such as a 3D printing job board, B2B consulting and brand content, event management, and more.

Contract Overview

We’re seeking a native German freelance Content Creator to collaborate with our editorial team. You’ll produce or/and translate written content for our German-speaking audience and contribute to our SEO strategy to grow international reach.

• Contract type: Independent contractor (freelance)
• Duration: Initial 6-month engagement, with possibility of extension
• Workload: Approx. 3–5 articles per week (news, interviews, listings, reviews, how-tos) (approx. 500-600 words) plus social promotion; 
• Location: Remote
• Start date: ASAP
• Compensation: Competitive freelance day/article rate, commensurate with experience (invoicing required)

Scope & Responsibilities

• Translate and adapt rich editorial content (news, interviews, listings, product reviews, how-to guides) aligned with our style and editorial calendar ;
• Create content for 3Dnatives social media platforms (LinkedIn and Facebook) 

Profile 

• C2-level German (native or bilingual) with excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset: rigorous, responsive, analytical, and comfortable with deadlines
• 3D printing knowledge is a plus, not required (ability to learn fast is essential)
• Reliable availability during agreed collaboration hours and capacity to deliver to brief
• Ability to invoice as a freelancer/independent contractor (no employment contract)

Nice to Have

• Experience in tech/industrial/B2B media
• Understanding of social media best practices for content distribution

How We’ll Work (Contract Terms)

• Deliverables: Defined per editorial plan (topics, formats, deadlines)
• Quality: Adherence to 3Dnatives style, sourcing standards, and SEO guidelines
• IP & Confidentiality: Work-for-hire; IP assigned to 3Dnatives; NDA as needed
• Payment: Monthly invoicing; payment terms NET 30 (unless otherwise agreed)
