As a Blockchain Developer at EyeLabX, you will design and build the blockchain-based utility and incentive layer supporting our digital eye-wellness ecosystem. You will develop secure smart contracts and supporting infrastructure that reward users for verified healthy screen habits and enable them to redeem those rewards for EyeLabX services, future devices, and approved partner benefits.

Your responsibilities will include designing reward issuance and redemption flows, integrating verified wellness events from our desktop application and future wearable devices, and implementing safeguards against fraudulent or duplicated activity. You will also contribute to wallet abstraction, transaction processing, access controls, auditability, and privacy-preserving data verification—ensuring that sensitive health and behavioral data is never unnecessarily exposed on-chain. You will work closely with product, backend, application, AI, IoT, security, and legal teams to define how off-chain wellness activity is validated and securely connected to blockchain infrastructure. Your work will help create a scalable, accessible, and compliant incentive ecosystem in which blockchain remains simple and largely invisible to users.

Key Responsibilities

• Blockchain Incentive Architecture: Design and build the blockchain-based utility and incentive layer that supports EyeLabX’s digital wellness ecosystem. Translate verified healthy screen habits into secure, auditable reward events.

• Smart Contract Development: Write, test, deploy and maintain smart contracts for reward issuance, claims, redemption, access control and partner-funded incentive programs. Ensure contracts are secure, upgradeable where appropriate and optimized for transaction costs.

• Wellness Activity Verification: Build secure integrations that receive validated activity events from the EyeLabX desktop application, backend services and future wearable devices. Ensure that raw health and behavioral data is not unnecessarily stored or exposed on-chain.

• Reward Issuance and Redemption: Develop systems that allow eligible users to earn and redeem rewards for EyeLabX subscriptions, services, future devices and approved partner benefits. Implement clear rules for eligibility, expiration, limits and settlement.

• Fraud and Abuse Prevention: Implement protections against duplicated claims, replay attacks, automated activity, device spoofing, multiple-account abuse and manipulated wellness events. Collaborate with backend, AI and IoT teams on activity validation and risk scoring.

• Wallet Abstraction and User Experience: Create user-friendly wallet and transaction experiences that minimize blockchain complexity. Support embedded or managed wallets, gas sponsorship, account recovery and conventional sign-in flows where appropriate.

• Privacy-Preserving Architecture: Design blockchain interactions around data minimization, consent and user privacy. Use hashes, signed attestations, selective disclosure or other appropriate methods instead of storing sensitive health data directly on-chain.

• Security and Key Management: Establish secure signing, key-management and access-control systems for users, platform services and authorized partners. Protect reward-distribution and administrative operations through multisignature approvals, role separation and transaction controls.

• Auditability and Monitoring: Build infrastructure that provides traceability for reward issuance, redemptions, partner funding and administrative actions. Implement blockchain monitoring, alerting, reconciliation and incident-response processes.

• Partner Integration: Develop secure APIs and smart-contract interfaces that allow approved healthcare, wellness, research and commercial partners to fund rewards or provide redeemable benefits.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with application, backend, AI, IoT, product, security, QA and legal teams to define verification standards, privacy requirements and sustainable incentive rules.

• Technical Research: Evaluate blockchain networks, wallet infrastructure, account abstraction, verifiable credentials and scaling technologies based on cost, security, privacy and product requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Incentive-System Design: Understanding of utility-token mechanics, reward budgets, issuance limits, redemption models, expiration rules and protection against unsustainable emissions.

• Account Abstraction: Familiarity with embedded wallets, sponsored transactions, gas abstraction, and user-friendly account recovery.

• Layer 2 Networks: Experience with low-cost networks and scaling solutions such as Base, Arbitrum, Optimism or Polygon.

• Audits and Production Operations: Experience preparing smart contracts for security audits, monitoring production deployments, and supporting incident response.

• Payment Integration: Experience with stablecoin settlement or regulated payment providers where needed for partner payments and reward redemption.

• Compliance Awareness: Understanding of privacy, consumer protection, KYC/AML, and token-related regulatory considerations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Health-Tech Experience: Experience with digital health, wellness applications, wearable technology, or other privacy-sensitive products.

• Digital Identity and Attestations: Experience with device identity, verifiable credentials, signed attestations, or privacy-preserving proofs.

Frontend Integration: Experience working with frontend teams to make blockchain-based rewards and redemption flows simple, accessible and largely invisible to users.
